Lab 4 - Devices

In this lab, learn how to assign devices to users.

• Paw Pet Supply Solutions desire their telephone system configured in a certain way:

  • All users wants to have an MPP phone, and will be activated through activation codes

Instructions

1.	Devices-> Add device-> Personal Usage
	Anita Perez needs a 9861 phone Assign devices to users manually or in bulk Activation method: Activation Code Model: Cisco 9861 (it's the fancy phone on your desk!) Enter the activation code Webex Help Article
2.	Devices-> Add device-> Multiple Cisco IP Phones
	The rest of the users have a Cisco 8800 series phone Use the "Add device sample template" from Control Hub to bulk add devices to the users. Download "Add device sample template" Download "Users in my organization" Copy all email adresses except for Anita Perez. Get Username from the "Users in my organization" template. Use the "Add device sample template" to assign devices to users in bulk. Fill only the indicated columns, leave the rest blank. Username: Paste email adresses Type: USER Device Type: IP Model: Cisco 8865 Upload the modified device sample template, scroll down and select Provide link, before submit the file When the job finish, download the activation code list Webex Help Article
